Van Neistat

Van Neistat is an artist that sells himself as a craftsman. The thing is, however, his craftsmanship is subpar to the standards of most that make a living with tools. He knows this, but never really reveals this self awareness to his audience. He’s a brilliant film maker and I absolutely adore his work. Welcome Home Fellas…

Well fellas… For many of you, your worst nightmare has been realized. And for others, your wildest dreams have come true. After over a decade on antiquated forum software, The Garage Journal has FINALLY been updated to a more future proof and secure platform – Xenforo. This endeavor has taken over a year to complete. Migrating such a large and robust forum is an incredibly challenging endeavor and one that, quite frankly, I was not excited about doing. A Lightweight Wheelchair… & A Maker….

A few years ago, I was exploring Instagram and found this guy that was into both photography and woodworking. Sharing the same passions, I smashed that follow button and didn’t think much more of it.  But as Matthew’s posts began to infiltrate my scrolling sessions, I noticed a couple of things: Matthew had recently suffered a spinal cord stroke and was a T-10 paraplegic as a result.
