I've been battling the flu since Monday. Today was the first day I finally started feeling better. I probably got the crud from vegas. I hope the wife doesn't get it we've got some traveling left to do. My drill bits showed up in the mail yesterday. Using my engine lift it was pretty easy to get the post off the pallet. Now im going to mark down on my concrete where I need to move the post. I might do that today but if not I'll probably get it done next week after I get back from Rancho.

Wife an I spent a few days at EMS conference out in Palm desert. I've been home a few days wife gets home today! Yesterday I was able to stand on of the post up. My anchor adhesive showed up in the mail. Im going to set it tomorrow. The last phot is a view of the Bain fire from my house. Tis the season. Pretty happy im not dealing with hot weeds.

I got the driver's side post set, minus one anchor. The strike anchors aren't as good as redheads. The nail portion of the anchor is made out of brass and when striking ive had a few bend really bad. The passenger side post is up. I was running out of time and just put one anchor on it. I'll probably get most of it done today unless the wife has me doing other stuff. It took me forever how to figure out how to raise the arm manually. I tried just muscling it. It felt like it was locked, nope it's just heavy AF. I used a floor jack to raise it.

@Xti04 Happy EMS week
