I haven't added to this thread in a while. I've done several bags recently, and here are some highlights.

Waterproof UL duffel (30ish liters), Ultra 400X

EDC bag 1 (prototype) made with Ultra 400X face and EcoPak EPLX200 liner

Final version of the above bag in Dyneema 5.0 Composite Hybrid with X-Pac VX15 liner.

20L dry bags with EcoPak EPLX 1680 (I made 4 of these). This fabric is awesome! It is heavy duty, light, and seam tapeable.

And in use:

A pair of lined dry bags in Ultra 400X with a 2.2oz nylon liner that is removeable.

Another, smaller EDC fanny pack in Ultra 400X:

And one more mid-sized EDC sling bag, also in Dyneema 5.0

Sewing the EDC bags is challenging. I don't like sewing around curves, but the Nakajima helps make the process a little less painful.

All of these projects are super impressive, especially this fanny pack. These are tight little seams with not a lot of margin for error. Very cool!
Thank you! Yes, the multi-pocket fanny/sling bags are tough. What makes it harder is the laminate fabrics I'm using are not forgiving. Once the needle hole is there, it can't be hidden. The fibers don't close up like a traditional woven fabric. Too many holes can weaken the fabric, increasing changes of seam failure. These fabrics are incredibly tough and abrasion resistant though, so the final product will last a long time and be highly water-resistant.
