Although I don’t collect P&C tools, I have always picked them up at sales and generally trade them away to someone who needs them. The three I found yesterday were wartime looking and pretty rusty. IMG_1474.jpeg
I found this little combo today. IMG_1524.jpegIMG_1525.jpeg
Here they are together after de-rusting.IMG_1535.jpeg
They are available for trading.

Here's a rare one. This is the only P&C 1/4" flex spinner I've ever seen and I cannot find another one online.

IMG_5322.jpeg IMG_5321.jpeg

I'm thinking it may be one-of-a-kind, sort of like it's little dual-marked Proto-Plomb cousin.

IMG_5326.jpeg

The shank on the spinner was a perfect fit in the bladeless 624 P&C handle I'd found.

(No nice tools were harmed in the process).

Tom

EDIT -- here's where the Plomb one came from -

Here it is with the rest of the family. I've got quite a few of the yellow plastic P&C drivers, but not too many octagonal wooden ones..

IMG_5414.jpeg IMG_5413.jpeg

I seem to find more Plomb/Proto examples. P&C stamped their logo into the handle and it isn't always easy to see, but the lack of a groove makes them easy to differentiate.

IMG_5415.jpeg

These are always fun to find. :)

Nice drivers! I will tell you the translucent drivers you show on the bottom of your post are not p&c (pti) to my knowledge

You're right. I think one of them says Taiwan. I was just sharing for the fun of it. They're a funny combination of the Plomb wood handle style done in plastic. Off topic for sure!

Don, maybe scrub some white chalk into the lettering and then rub you thumb across it? I've had good luck raising marks temporally that way.

Here is a vintage P&C ratchet I’m quite excited to add to the collection.

The early 1/2” 6010 ratchet and removable knurled 6007 drive plug (“connection for ratchet” as the cat. calls it).

Found in the 1926 and 1927 catalogs at the PNCTOOLS site (Bless those guys for a wonderful resource.). By 1928, the 6010 had the egg head shape.

A whopping 12 teeth.
10-1/2” long.

I believe Mr. X has posted some from his collection. Not sure if anyone else has.

Partial logo stamp on the beam, the only marking.

‘26 cat images. It would be fun to find some other pieces. :Freak:

Todays find at the monthly flea market. I wasn't very interested in the 2734, as it would be a duplicate.

P&C.jpg
Then I turned it over:
Pebble Markings.jpg
My first "Pebble" P&C.

The seller likes to discount bundles, so I added the other P&C, plus a 3/8" drive Craftsman L-handle. He said "twelve dollars" and I pulled out my wallet.

Does anybody own P&C tool wagon? If not, does anybody know of one or has a picture of one?

... It looks somewhat similar to SK Red Tool Wagon - I wonder if there was the same manufacturer...

I'm sure they were. Here is another example of P&C having the same box as SK. P&C catalog cut is from 1939. I've got a P&C 9323, and a bit later P&C toolmobile, but no Tool wagon. Ed.

Thank you, Oregon Rock Crusher! The box is great, but the P&C toolsmobile is absolutely amazing!!!
Do you have any pictures of the drawers inside? ( Are they just plain metal or have dividers?)

Here are the only two pictures with drawers open I have handy and stored in the computer. The top drawer has some moveable dividers. I think I took these when I first got it and before I went over the whole thing with cleaning wax. Ed.
