I am starting off by seeing if anyone can tell me the make/model of this particular bench grinder?? It has a new coat of paint but was handed down with no info except that it was old and used for many years by my wifes grandfather... it was a redish colour previously it seems. I haven't been able to get info as to wire up a new toggle switch so I might put it back to work occasionally. Any help would be great thank you.

We have a few guys on here that are very experienced with old motors and grinders, unfortunately I'm not one of them. But if you do a search on old grinders and old sanders you'll probably come across 2 of the guys I'm talking about. One goes by the name Hoorn, and the other FrankLee. Looking at some of the old Deltas I'm seeing some similarity to yours but none look exactly like it.

Welcome Aboard, Red was a common color used on the machines in shops where I have been employed.
Good Luck in tracking the lineage of your grinder.
