I have a 09 Wr450f that I ride regularly on the Utah trails.

Here is that banshee and one other I have put back in working order

The chrome bike is a 2001 and almost back together,
The yellow bike is a 1997 stock motor with carb work, really clean fun bike o ride.

Have a 1983 Yamaha tri zinger 60, that was mine as a kid I rebuild for my kids to enjoy (twins) 0aa2cdc10001de193b904461420bed77.jpg
Also have a problem with old yard equipment 110729631b8ca68d41d3c9968d9148a6.jpg
It works well for thirty year old machine. The horse was a great tool, runs well enough but I need to put new belts on it.

It’s all treasure

I love a good old truevalue shovel from the 1960’s right next to a polished rebuilt Long axe

Boy that could be taken the wrong way LOL if your wife reads that she might think you meant she wasn’t desirable. Maybe you should change it to “you don’t see things the way my wife sees things” just in case she see’s your post.:D

Awesome.

Thank you.

Should be a cool project. Please be sure to share it here.

Whereabouts in Utah are you located? By the pictures of the houses and yards, looks like a pretty nice neighborhood.

Got started hogging out the jaws today

This stuff is no joke, I’ve never had to mill anything this hard before.

I wondered if that was gonna-be elevated parts storage. Your chrome costs on the Banshee would probably exceed the value of some of my two-wheeled collection. Around here, the kids from certain neighborhoods ride their Banshees and dirtbikes on the streets in mobs. The PD's and the FL Highway Patrol have become more-aggressive about pursuing them, they are using helicopters and bike cops to corral them in making mass-arrests, confiscating the rides.

That’s pretty sweet, maybe buy a cheapie drill and leave it attached. That way you’re not looking around when you need to move the bed.

I’m gonna see about a drill designed more for mixing mortar or grout, And yeah I think that will be the thought is leave it in place for sure.

The big problem I see with street riding is the risk to you and others. It simply leaves you in danger for someone to make a little accident turn really big. I wish the police would do something with the confiscated machines besides the videos I have seen of them smashing them.

There are people out here who pay pretty low cost to purchase, then ship them to sell for double the profit out your direction. Crazy world for sure.

Very nice work on the lift system.

I was in the process of designing something very similar but much smaller in our 26' Haulmark Edge enclosed race trailer several years ago. I needed to lift the front end of our sandrail up in the air and lock it place for travel which would then give me the ability to haul another sand quad to the dunes and races. We could only haul 3 quads and the sandrail in our 26' trailer and we were in the middle of building another drag quad, I really didn't want to get a longer trailer. I never got around to building it as we got out of racing and duning before needing it.

Yours is turning out fantastic.

Do you still have your quads or rails?
