Featured Spaces – Page 4 – The Garage Journal

I’ve been so busy with work the past couple of months that I haven’t been able to get in much shop time. Tomorrow, however, I’m headed back to the APO and back to work on my tiny lab. Which is good timing as I just ran into the “Tool Temple” in the TGJ gallery. Essentially, it’s a shed with an add on and some interesting detail decisions. I love stuff like this… maybe you will too. Check it out.

This thing is so rad… I mean, there is nothing convenient about these early lifts and I’m sure there should be some safety considerations taken, but I can’t imagine a better looking lift in your shop if you wrench on early cars. I know I’d just about kill for one. Check out the video:

I’ve never done any leather work at all. In fact, I’m 100% unfamiliar with the medium… But recently, a friend sent over a video and told me to check out these guys at Corter. I did so and I’ve kind of fallen in love with their work environment. It’s clean, simple, and full of vintage looking hand tools. Pretty rad. Check em all out here. See Comments on the forum.

This is pretty cool… Everyone knows about Jack’s 12-Gauge Garage, right? Well, Paul was so inspired by Jack’s workspace that he built his own version complete with island and almost identical cabinet layout. Check it out.
