Going down the planer rabbit hole, I have a dewalt DW735X which does a decent job but would like something a little bigger. Right now Grizzly is offering free shipping which is like 10% off so it sweetens the deal a little. Going from straight blades to a helical cutter head should be a big improvement in finish quality. Just curious if anyone has a planer they would recomend, I've been looking at used delta & powermatic but no great deals & I love old PM stuff. It seems like alot of guys are selling rough sawn so cheap it's worth milling your own finish lumber. I have also had good luck buying from Grizzly in the past, so getting a new machine with a warranty is kinda nice.
