Fine woodworking, ala Beerhippie:

53620299282_841db06958_b.jpg

I built that bench a decade or two ago. I also did the fine repair work on the '70s captain's chair--must have been a while ago, as I no longer have any idea where I'd get carriage bolts that long around here.

Somehow, I first posted this to not only the wrong thread, but the wrong forum.

^Nice! Ours were flat boards with Forstner bores to hold sample glasses. The severs hated filling them, so we don't do flights anymore, 'though they were a money-maker.
The original brewery I did these for has a very vintage vibe to their graphics so my inspiration was vintage soda and milk crates. I kinda combined the look of wood soda crates and metal milk crates. The bottoms of the trays are open with stainless steel rods to support the glasses and not get gross on the bottom with spilt beer. They also needed to stack to save space, thus the nesting stackable shape.

Some really nice stuff in here. @LeonardY changing table and @Jgaz night stands, and @KMScott door grab my attention. Excellent work.

Let me trash this thread up a bit. Keep the expectations reasonable.

Butcher block table, seen previously in the "what did you do in your garage today" thread.

Two magnetic knife holders, both rotate, earth magnets, and walnut. Both were gifts, the H for my sisters engagement and the anvil for a friend that makes knives.

Nice work!!!!

I'm digging the MCM style of the changing table, I have a media cabinet on my list that will have a MCM feel as well.

Not sure if my work is worthy compared to some of the amazing stuff in this thread, but here goes. I built this headboard for our bedroom a couple of years ago. It's large, heavy, and hangs on the wall via a French cleat.

Okay I’m in. Many years ago, I saw this bridge and was inspired to make my own version of it.

Some very nice work.

Like many of my tool oriented hobbies, a lot of my time is spent making tools, workbenches, organizers etc. I'm more of a plywood and 2x4 builder, workbenches, shelves etc but I occassionally find time to do something less utilitarian.
I'm out of town for another week but I'll post some of my stuff when I can.

This is mostly scrap and some repurposed FORD aluminum shelves/ drawers. It was build around the drawers. I built it to replace a wire storage rack with bins. The goal was Ford engine blue, kinda missed the color, but like it either way. It's probably a tad on the overbuilt side.

This is a coffee table I built from a picture I saw in Fine Woodworking. This one is assembled without glue or fasteners other than wood pegs. The top is splined and pegged, breadboard ends are mortice and tenon with pegs, the base is mortise and tenon, and the base is joined to the top with a sliding dovetail across the width of the top.

Questions on the cutting board.

It appears to have end grain and edge grain, what did you use to flatten it?

How are the cow, chicken and pig designs embossed?

I have been making CNC projects this year. I just finished up the Lord’s supper for a fundraiser auction. I purchased the STL model file so it’s not my original work. 23 hours of machine time and another 4 hours of detail sanding and finishing time. The challenge coin flag is my own design. It’s 24”x36”.

Not a pro by no means, I just tinker, Frames, boards, wine glass holders. Nothing professional. It’s my Prozac.
