95a TPU showed up today and one roll is in the dryer. Rest of the filament shows up tomorrow . Hopefully by the end of next week, I'll be well on my way to one of these. The chair will be black, blue and purple, with red tires. If all goes well, then I'll pick up some TPU foam for the cushion.
Just need the hardware to show up...

You fixed that spelling mistake, right?

Filament just arrived!Unfortunately, due to school house spools' inability to simply ship orders before they are placed, the filament for this won't arrive before snowpocalypse![]()

I just ordered the two chamber unitThat's what had me looking at them, being able to have different temps going on in different chambers seems nice. I usually have petg in a couple and leave a couple whatever random pla silk the kids are liking in the others. I don't care much about the kids randomness going on but like to keep the petg in good condition for the stuff I am doing.

Done.
we're live if ya'all want to take a look/sign up as a maker.
Done.
Those print times...
If there is a demand for these wheelchairs, I'll get more printers, no problem.more reason to get more printers. duh.

I'll take a subsidized printer any day. Even willing to commit to a reasonable volume.we're hoping to get bambu on board with helping. aka more printers.

Based on how excited my physical therapist colleagues were at this, I bet there is a strong need for them
New printer needs to start with an H though...
5 builds is a commitment, but I can get behind that..really hoping for a discount code or similar setup. prove 5 builds -> get a discount code 50% off or something.

Are materials supplied? Or is that part of the "volunteering"? Minimum bed size?
This seems like it needs a dedicated thread, I almost missed it

I think it's a great idea and is for a great cause, but printing these is a huge time commitment. I'd be surprised if many people do one. This seems like it needs a dedicated thread, I almost missed it
I would be on board for this, cause I mean who only needs one printer...really hoping for a discount code or similar setup. prove 5 builds -> get a discount code 50% off or something.

It's being printed... This one is going to my colleagues, but I need a parts kit....same handle? drop me a DM with your email ill check it out.
found youuuuu. approved. now make something.
You running it with the .6 nozzle size? I started my account but haven't uploaded the verification prints yet but was looking at the profiles and the .6 nozzle does save some time and gets down to just over 200 hours. I need to download the files and see what can be done with the larger bed area of the H series plus a .6 nozzleIt's being printed... This one is going to my colleagues, but I need a parts kit....
As soon as this one is done, I'll get another kit and start on it. Really would like to see print settings that drop time down into the mid 200's
No, the 0.4mm stock nozzle. There are some posts on their discord from people that messed with 0.6 and it didn't change the time by a lot. Interesting that you are seeing differently. You running it with the .6 nozzle size? Was thinking of trying to do the main body in all black, probably via 5kg rolls from our favorite petg dealer, then customized colors on the wheels, tires and cushions. But probably getting ahead of myself...TPU is in the drier and need to print the strap verification print

I downloaded the files and opened up in bambu studio with no changes, so I don't know why my times are so much higher
