Craftsman #43785

Went to a flea market today and bought a Proto #5449 ratchet for $3. Found a Craftsman #43785 in the pile but it was frozen and would not ratchet in either direction so the guy said you can have it for free. Great! I took it home, sprayed some cleaner around the openings, oiled it and what do you know, it worked. They both work well but will have to open them up and clean the insides.

I was given a 1/4" snap on ratchet that was frozen from rust . soaked in mineral spirits and oil made short work of it getting rotating again.
never did open it up to do any more with it

I opened the proto and the grease was packed in it. Cleaned it out, oiled it and it works great. The craftsman was fairly clean inside, don't know why it was frozen but they both work great now. Trying to get some tools and a box for my grandson. Says he need one to put in his truck. He is doing yard work while going to college and is fairly busy.
