I want to see a #10 myself. I suspect there is a little confusion here.

I bought a screwdriver set last year that had a #4 Phillips. I had never seen one before and have never had the need for one to date. #3 is the biggest I've seen and used to that point.

The biggest JIS I have is also #3

I have a #4 Phillips… that I have never used. I use my #3 Phillips, though.

JIS crosshead only goes up to #4. And it seems to me that #4 is already a pretty rare bird. If not a purely theoretical size, while covered by the standard, but not adapted/ widely used (if at all).

McMaster only sells up to #3, and that tells a lot already. https://www.mcmaster.com/products/bits/drive-style~jis/

This is a very elaborate piece of work on JIS crosshead: https://smallworkshop.co.uk/2022/10/01/japanese-screws-and-fasteners/

It would help immensely if you could provide more information, maybe even pictures of what you are working on, that requires larger sized bits - that for all I know don’t exist.

Kind regards,
Olli

Unless I'm missing something JIS and Phillips are two different things

#10 would be huge, even if it exists.

Where did you come up with this need/specification?

The guy can't effectively phrase a question. I'm doubtful hes going to have a need for a driver that nobody here even thinks exists...

I'm thinking troll thread/account or bot.

I have used PZ4 but never JIS 4 or phillips 4. I have never noticed that any larger sizes even exist. The only similar thing I can think of is for use in a pole shoe screwdriver.

If anyone made such bits, I imagine that Koken would.

Snap-on makes a PH10 but you’re not gonna like the price.
There is an idea. Harbor Freight could copy the Snap-on giveaway/raffle/advertising type stuff like giant tools, clocks, mugs… they could even do Harbor Freight gnomes.

The first one could be a Harbor Freight gnome with the 6 drawer USG cart.

Maybe a girly calendar with only girls from Taiwan.

I think that my P4 might be the exact same length as my P3’s.

Interesting you guys rarely touch P4. I see them often enough that I’ve acquired some options.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen a PZ4.

I think the OP just gave a laundry list without thought. P10 would be HUGE. I do not think bigger than P4 comes up. It would probably not make sense to have Phillips type drive on anything that large. Plus JIS is a dead standard. PZ is equivalent as are Vessel bits/drivers.

Anyway, the post was good for chuckles. Maybe a case of "Be careful what you wish for!"

I'm building a motorcycle from the ground up . A Honda xl400r. I am in madras oregon. I've seem jis #1 - jis #3 bits. I was wondering if there anymore sizes that are available. I read online that they go up to 10. I dont think I will need one of them but I might need a #4 or #5.
Almost all of the bolt heads are 1-3. Does this help?
