What's that strange looking knife you have there?
It was part of the CP air rachet promo pack, chinese :)..... will take a closer picture for ya.

Awesome Sarel! Who did you get them through?
All from the US various places, CP from Tooltopia, Felo screwdrivers from Rockler, Watch from Amazon.

Will take a picture of the Felo set as well.

Thinking about getting one of those 12v bosch drivers you got there. Haven't decided if I want the impact or not though. Let me know what you think of the two.

I have the PS21-2A and have no complaints.

Here's a unscientific test that I did with the driver:

I just bought the Bosch set form Lowes about 3 weeks ago, its great! I wonder how I got along without it. I built a shelving unit this weekend with it, it doesn't really like anything longer than a 4" drywall screw, and it ***** down batteries doing it. I bought it for automotive use though, and its absolutely great for that!

black20,

So far I like both the PS21 and PS41. I've only played around with them though, no 'real' work done yet. However, I'd get the combo kit. Lowe's had it for $149 locally, and a year ago just one of these two cost almost that much. The bag isn't much to write home about, but I think (haven't tried it yet) the whole thing will fit snugly in a Systainer 1 with room for nut drivers, bit set and socket adapters.

I bought them for automotive work (all those pesky little fasteners like the gazillion 8mm I need to remove to get my undercovers off), but the impact generates a surprising amount of torque for a 12V tool. The new tools aren't like yesteryears Ni-Cad; I'm pretty sure these would both whip my old 18V Ni-Cad's ****.

I just got them both too. Amazon has $25 off Bosch power tools right now. I ended up getting the 3/8 drill and adjustable head 90* drill also. Great deals, I ended up getting a total of $75 off since I ordered the 1/4 kit, then the drill and 90* drill separate.! I'll take pics when it all gets here. So far the 3/8 and 1/4 set are here and all work great!

I'm going to be using it in an automotive setting mainly for interior and trim work where there are many small screws. A small handy driver like that is going to save me alot of sweat when I have my back crunched over and head stuck in the dash. I may have to cross the line down south if Lowes have them at 149 for the set. The local places here want over $100 just for one of them.

Who sells thos Rockos drivers?

MSC still has some. If I were starting over as opposed to duplicating, I don't think I would choose the Rockos over the ChiselDrivers. Unless you just want a different color. MSC's shipping is a bit high and the pricing at chadstoolbox is better on everything he carries (significantly if you're still eligible for the 15% discount).

Here's the Bosch haul from Amazon using the $25 off deal twice and free shipping on all of it. I ordered the 1/4 driver / impact set first and got $25 off of that, then ordered the 3/8 drill and swivel head drill together and got $25 off and free shipping on that too. I probably should have ordered those separately and got another $25 off but I didn't think of it.

And here's the Lowes haul minus the mini-long reach pliers set.

And here are the mini-long reachers. They're pretty nice for $15, but definitely made in China.

How's the new drill? Reviews on Amazon seems to mixed because of an inherent chuck problem. I hope Bosch fixed the problem already.

I went for the drill/driver combo. I had second thoughts on the drill. Would love to get first hand comments here in this site rather than Amazon. :)

Thanks

Some stuff for the Stick Welder. The ground clamp in old Tweco packaging is US made. The Tweco stinger and the cable connectors are Mexican.

IMGP3479.jpg

Wiha and PB Swiss mallets and a few welding magnets. Bessey WMS-4 is Made in India. All the while I thought these were still German manufactured.

Got 3 pieces of Nicholson Ergo Handled File Sets. Great deal. Thanks a lot to the OP in Hot Deals thread.

"new" drill press

It's a 1992 Enco. CL find for $150. The guy I bought it from was a wood worker, so it had a full complement of sawdust in it, but some compressed air cleaned that right up.

I only used it once so far and it worked great. I'm not sure what the chuck problem is, but I didn't notice any problems with the chuck on mine. I'll do some research and find out what the complaints are and let you know if I agree.
